Barry A. Posner is a Partner at Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP and Chair of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department.
Barry focuses on commercial transactions, often in the healthcare sector, including debt and equity financings, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, and complex commercial lending transactions.
At KTAP, Barry oversees the corporate transactional practice as well as the healthcare and regulatory groups. He provides clients with clear, grounded counsel in complex legal and regulatory environments, informed by real-world experience building, acquiring, and operating regulated businesses.
Barry’s work is grounded in nearly fifteen years as an executive and general counsel for a nationally recognized public healthcare company and an additional 15 years in private practice. That experience gives him a clear understanding of how legal decisions bear on operational realities inside heavily regulated enterprises. He has advised boards of directors and senior executives on matters involving M&A, equity and debt capital, risk management, reimbursement structures, and long-term growth, where stability and judgment are critical.
